Ashburn townhomes and Brambleton singles often have ceiling boxes that were never rated for a fan. We check the box, the support, and the switch loop before the fan comes out of the carton. If the box cannot take the load, we say so and quote a proper support instead of hanging a wobbly fan on drywall anchors.
We replace switches, dimmers (when the fixture allows), smoke-detector units on existing wiring, and interior light fixtures. We do not upgrade panels, add circuits through finished walls as a hidden fishing expedition, or touch aluminum branch-circuit specialty work. Fixture-level jobs stay fixture-level.
